After attending the Bay Ridge community workshop, a reporter from The Brooklyn Paper took a radar gun to clock how fast cars are traveling on Fourth Avenue. On Thursday, July 19th, DOT will give a brief presentation to the 4th Ave Working Group at the CB7 office (4201 Fourth Avenue) at 6:30pm. On July 16th, a Fourth Avenue Task Force meeting was held at CB10 in Bay Ridge to discuss strategy and plans for improving safety along Fourth Avenue between 65th Street and Shore Road. DOT looks forward to holding community outreach meetings in Bay Ridge this fall.
